We are a small ranch located about 90 miles southeast of Dallas, Texas. It is a wonderful location for
raising horses; just the right about of rainfall for lush Bermuda grass, shade trees for the horses to
snooze under or use as a wind block and the soil is soft on their legs. It is an ideal location for it’s
agricultural conditions as well as its proximity to a large metroplex with all it offers, including equine
health experts. At the moment we have 142 acres for the horses and the neighboring cows to call home.

We started out breeding Quarter Horses of the Grullo color and have changed our direction to raising
Missouri Fox Trotters. The grullos color is more difficult to find in this breed, but they are out there and I
have them. Although color is important for that flash, their willingness to learn and be a partner is of
more importance equal to their conformation. When you find that partner, you spend a lot of time and
you want them to be healthy and sound.

Therefore our goal is to raise horses that are conformationally sound, of willing mind and body to
become a partner for the rider using the Natural Horsemanship philosophy of training. I am a level
three student of the Parelli program so all of our horses are raised under the Natural Horsemanship
principles. No matter the breed, our horses are raised to be partners in the corral, pasture or on the
trails. They love visiting and working with the human. And, I take my responsibility of raising these
gorgeous equines very seriously. They are all handled daily, trimmed every six weeks, vaccinated
biannually, teeth floated at least annually, and wormed every other month.

The breed of our stock is varied while we are transitioning to the Missouri Fox Trotter breed. The MFT is
known for their versatility and gliding gait while being a very sure footed equine.
I personally do lots of riding on trails of various terrains at all speeds and they have never
disappointed me. And the next day I can work the cows with them just as well as the quarter horse.

Take a moment to visit with us, check out our horses, for sale or not, or give us a call and we can
chat “horse” for awhile.
